Aussie couple Jordie Hansen and Sam Frost are celebrating their exciting new chapter by travelling through Australia, finding hidden gems, visiting rural towns and having a good time doing it all with their baby boy Ted, who gets an early education of life on the road. Described as “Hilarious” and “Good for the soul”, Rural Roadtrips takes you on a journey of real life on road experiences and adventure all by RV staying in some of the best holiday park accomodation Australia has to offer.

Jordie Hansen
Labelled “The Joker” on Survivor Australia 2022 for his ability to laugh through adversity, to find the funny side of life and to still be laughing when everything goes awry, Jordie Hansen is your lovable Aussie guy, with a little larrikin. Having just completed his second season of Survivor Jordie is looking for his next adventure.
Jordie has grown up in the outdoors and has lived in many places across the country both as a child and as an adult. He grew up camping in remote parts of Australia where his parents taught him the importance of staying connected to nature. Surfing and camping quickly became his favourite pass times. He also has spent weeks at a time in Aboriginal communities in the north west corner of South Australia where he spent time learning from Traditional Owners about things like art, culture and hunting. The bush is in Jordie’s blood and this is why he took Sam to Uluru. They travelled the country stopping at rural towns and this is where the idea was sparked for Jordie and Sam’s Rural Roadtrip.
Sam Frost
Sam Frost is an Australian actress, media personality and author. She first won the hearts of the nation after appearing on The Bachelor Australia in 2014, described as the quintessential Aussie girl next door. Frost then starred in the very first Bachelorette Australia in 2015. In 2015, she also became a national radio host working alongside comedian and TV personality, Rove McManus, for 18 months. During her time on radio she also appeared on Hell’s Kitchen Australia. In 2017 Sam joined the cast of the long running Australia TV drama, Home and Away as Jasmine Delaney.
Sam’s talent has seen her win Radio Presenter of the Year, Women of the Year Awards (2016) and after her first 6 months in her role as Jasmine Delaney she was nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent, TV Week Logie Award (2018).
In 2022 and after more than a year in the making, Sam published her first book ‘Believe’ with Hachette.
Sam is also a huge travel enthusiast, she loves nothing more than hitting the road for her next camping adventure, in July 2022 she filmed a special for 7TWO, ‘My Road to Adventure’, then went onto release her own podcast later in the year, ‘Jordie & Sam’s Rural Roadtrip’, which she recorded with her now fiancé, Jordie Hansen, whilst traveling around Australia.
